About

Fluxus Studio is a space for meaningful making.

In a world that moves fast, we believe in slowing down — working with your hands, learning traditional techniques, and creating something lasting.

Our intimate 2-hour silversmithing workshops in Redcliffe, Queensland are designed for complete beginners.

You’ll craft two solid 925 sterling silver rings from raw metal to finished piece, guided step-by-step in a relaxed studio environment.

We work exclusively with solid 925 sterling silver — a durable, precious metal designed to last a lifetime. It won’t rust, peel, or wear away like plated jewellery. It’s naturally suited to everyday wear, including for most sensitive skin.

Each workshop is intentionally limited in size to keep the experience personal and unhurried.

But while Fluxus Studio is new, the creative foundation behind it is not.

Fluxus is the sister business to ARTSCOOL Studios — an established creative studio that has been part of the Redcliffe community for over seven years.

After years of teaching thousands of children and teens through art, Fluxus was created as the long-requested adult version: a space designed for grown-ups who still crave creativity, hands-on experiences, and meaningful connection.

Fluxus was founded by artist and educator Megan Longley, whose teaching style focuses on making creativity feel accessible, welcoming, and deeply enjoyable — even for complete beginners.

This isn’t a crowded production-style workshop.

You’re stepping into a real working studio, guided personally through traditional jewellery-making techniques in a calm, supportive environment.

Located inside the established ARTSCOOL Studios space in Redcliffe, Fluxus combines professional silversmithing with the warmth, creativity, and community that ARTSCOOL has become known for.

We believe creativity should feel approachable.

No pressure. No perfection.

Just beautiful materials, thoughtful guidance, and the satisfaction of making something lasting.

You leave with jewellery that isn’t just beautiful — it’s solid, lasting, and made by you.

No experience needed.

Just curiosity.
